    Hello,
Im looking into buying my first tacoma.
I am new to the forum, and was wondering what it takes to put rear seats in a 3rd ten access cab tacoma that has the utility package. Are there any aftermarket seats available that can go in these or would i have to buy them used or even from a dealer? Would seats just bolt up, or will i have to buy the hardware as well?
Also can i put the seats out of a second gen back there, or do they have to be specifically from a 3rd gen? Because the 2006 and newer all look similar in the body as the 2016
    Thanks,
    Jacob

You have to get a new rear panel, new door covers for the storage area, new center cup holder, seat belts, possibly the side panels for the seat belts.
Supposedly it just clips and bolts in but it gets expensive if you are buying from a dealer.
It’s prob cheaper if you buy it from someone that has an access cab and is getting rid of the seats for the utility package.
    Good luck.

thanks! There is a 2009 at a wrecking yard by my house. It looks like the same body even though it is a second gen. Is there any chance that I could use all of that from the 09?

No. Second and third gen rear access seats are different. You have to get a 2016 or up parts only.

depending on where you're located I might be interested in selling/swapping parts.
I have a 2020 access cab on order and have no intent on keeping the rear seats once Toyota opens their plants and builds my truck!

Buy a new one the way you want it. ALWAYS a better outcome' unless you don't really care if it "pieced-together".
