Approx 20k miles on the tires.

Mostly back roads driving, some around town.

Front drivers side has a split in every other outer tread block all the way around the tire.

Not cut and no rubbing against the truck to cut it.

Thoughts? What would cause this? Should I be concerned?

As long as it doesn't go down to the cord. Doubt that will be covered by mfg as a defect.

Interesting, consider it extra sipping and improved traction. Could be worse my KM2s are chunking. I’m a little harder on them so it’s understandable to have some chunking

Check the sidewalls too. I had similar, though less defined, splitting on the sidewalls of my KO2s after 1000's of miles of logging roads at low pressures. Date code on those tires was 1016, so they were a few years old when it happened. But still it was very distinct and on multiple tires, so I dont think it was an isolated incident. Pretty sure it was the result of lots and lots of miles at pressures low enough to bulge the tires like in your picture

This is the only picture I could find. The first time I noticed it. It eventually ended up being a pretty distinct ring around the whole sidewall in that location before I replaced them.

I had severe splitting on the sidewall lugs and chunking of the tread blocks on my KO2's. BFG tires really aren't all that great, especially for the premium you pay for them.
