I'm in the same boat. If it has a manual transmission, I'll sell my 1st gen TSX and buy one immediately! If not, I'll look elsewhere for my next car.

I wonder if the 1.6 turbo will end up in the 4th gen Tacoma? That's a cool corolla, something like that needs AWD.

6 speed/AWD/and I don't want it to look like it thinks it's a race car.

I certainly hope not, who wants a 3 cylinder truck? If they put in a turbo it better compete with the 2.3 ecoboost.

Not as cool as the Golf R but close. Buddy of mine has a GTI w/stage 2 tune and it’s surprisingly quick.

    +1 Vote for the sleeper GTI / Golf R / R32.

Although, if I had to get a Corolla this would be da one. Not to mention it has more HP than stock 2nd gen 4.0 V6's :annoyed:

For sure, I had to get rid of my 2016 Corolla. The whopping 132 HP with a 4 speed auto was underwhelming to say the least.

    Mostly dust and dirt.
2 liter turbo would be better.

Cool! That car looks mean! I need 4WD/AWD for those crisp Midwestern winters, so I probably won't be getting one. Hope they sell a lot of them though.

I'm a longtime hot hatch fan and have owned several, everything from GTI and Golf R to Fiesta ST, Evo, and STI. Now that Toyota has me hooked with their trucks, I'm stoked to see what they create in the hot hatch realm. Healthy competition is a very good thing!
