I don’t think he was trolling. It looks like your bump stops haven’t been altered to accommodate the extra height and compression. The coils may bind and/or the coilovers may bottom out before the bump stops do their job

after rereading his post maybe not. But a quick glance at his prior posts still indicate a constant negative response to everyone else’s ride/work.

you are correct about the stops. Another reason why I won’t be crawling anytime soon. No bind at full droop though currently. Enough for my DD’ing and road trips with the wife. Until I convince the wife to let me buy my old man Diesel I’m not planning to risk wrecking my 7 year project just for the sake of conquering a complex rock obstacle or trail just yet. Appreciate the input though man. Thanks

Installed on Saturday. On road, definitely noticeable as the rear end of the truck feels more planted and stable. I can feel the suspension doing its job. Hoping to get an off road test in the coming weeks. You won't regret it. Only part that sucks is the removal of the oem hangers.

I appreciate it. I realized after rereading it I could’ve read into it. I appreciate it man. And you’re correct I’d need to remove it for a better set up if I ever move to crawling. I’ve never experienced a lean or not being level with those no matter what suspension I’ve ran. Not to mention with the 600# springs the 6112s come with won’t handle the weight up front rn as is. In time, I’ll make a change

Your Truck is 100% bad ass. It will look real good when you get it bed lined. The smooth bed liner will help shed mud too :fingerscrossed:

Hey if it works for you and what you use it for then that's all that matters! It seems for armor most people utilize the 2.5" headstrong 650lb coils. Depending on how heavy you are 700 may be an option as well. New parts is always exciting for sure and I would be happy to be in your position lol

Yesterday I cut off my lower shock mounts and broke down my leaf pack so I could articulate it in the garage. I wanted to gain some up travel back. When I did this I learned that my recently re-done limit strap mounts contacted each other before bump stops engaged. So I got crafty and reused my old shock mounts to make the beefiest limit strap tabs ever. Now there’s no clearance issues.

Nice whip! Do you McLove it?

I'm in the market for a Sentinel or Scout. There's a bunch of Patrols for sale around me, but I want something that works on climbs, too.

Came with MGM topper. Added FJammer stereo. LED Bed lights on AOB Flux Capacitor Switch. Added AOB Spy Mode switch for TBD lighting, stay tuned.
Parked next to the big boys at work today. IMG_20200506_134903027_HDR.jpg

I used to think that my shell was MGM, but parked next to this guy, now I'm not so sure.
