@Thunder Fist the only way to adjust the rear lift is by adding and subtracting leafs. If you are planning to do an add-a-leaf, then you are adding an extra leaf to the stock leaf pack to get the extra lift. In the case of the OME kit discussed in this thread, there are two leaf pack options, the medium duty (EL095R) and the heavy duty(EL096R). OME states that the medium duty provides 2" of lift with zero additional weight in the bed. They state the heavy duty pack is rated for 2" of lift with 660lbs. of constant weight in the bed.

    @Thunder Fist No problem.

I know you didn't ask for my opinion but if you plan on having any load in the bed at all I would stay away from add-a-leafs. The factory leafs are trash and will end up sagging on you.

I’m curious what the lift would be with around 300# in the bed. I have 3” up front (886s and 90021s) and added the HS 3 AAL w/overload left in, and I have about a 1/2” of Cali lean with my fiberglass canopy and plywood platform. I’m thinking HD Dakars might level me out or better yet get me back some rake. And can you add an AAL to the Dakars?

Its funny you ask that. Yes you can add and subtract leafs from the OME leaf packs. They sell an extra leaf (EL46XL). Back when I bought my HD Dekars, OME had a slightly different stance on the capacity of the leafs. Before I told @Thunder Fist the info I wanted to double check that it was still correct and I noticed it had changed. I supplied OME's current ratings to Thunder Fist. Before they were something like

0 lbs : EL095R with one of the leafs removed
330lbs: EL095R with all the leafs
660lbs: EL096R (which is basically the EL095R with and extra leaf)
More than 660lbs: you can add more leafs to the EL096R (EL46XL is the part number for the additional leafs)

For what is worth,I have the EL096R leafs. I have a snug top(250lbs) and a wood drawer system / sleeping platform (200lbs) plus some random recovery gear and other misc gear that stays in the truck all the time. Mine sits 24" from center of hub to fender.

I installed the 1/2” Headstrong spacer in the drivers side and moved the 1/4” spacer to the passenger side. It raised the front 1/2” on each side. Worked very well.

OP, curious if you pulled the trigger on your lift yet.
measurements after 1,000 miles everything settled 1/4 inch front and rear.
    23 1/2 driver front
    23 3/4 passenger front
    23 1/2 both sides rear

OP what did you end up doing?

Yes, I did pull the trigger! After a lot of research, I decided to go with the Eibach kit. I just couldn’t get over all of the reports of OME coils excessively settling/sagging.

I’m very pleased with the quality of the Eibach kit and have zero regrets with my decision. The quality is evident the moment you open the box. My truck rides and handles great as well.

Thank you! I haven’t taken any pics yet. In a few days, I’m getting my wheels and tires mounted. Then, I’ll post a bunch of pics.

Thanks, buddy! I’m really happy with it already. The 2.25” lift I got in the front combined with the 1.5” lift in the rear, gave it a great look. Once I get my Gunmetal Ray10’s & 265-75-16 KO2’s, it should look even better.

I can’t get over how nice this Eibach kit is. From the quality of the components to the quality of the ride, I’m shocked it doesn’t cost more than it does. Plus, the coils won’t sag, it’s all made in the USA & has a great warranty. I highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a simple & affordable lift.

You get any rubbing at that tire size and wheel offset? Any trimming?
