I just re-watched the first two Brosnan films. I liked him enough but those scripts were not the best :anonymous::bananadead:

The franchise "slumped" from Octopussy through Brosnan. Popcorn flicks at best. I was supremely skeptical at what they could do with the Daniel Craig "reboot" but holy shit they upped the game.

A little something every chance we get.
Morning ATX! Morning @Beretta4x4 ! I never pushed the button on this last night. I made it this far!

Meanwhile... back in the yard, a greenhouse finally takes shape! The little mods had worse coloring book instructions than the main ones, which aren't really bad. But as I went further in the book, little count errors slowed me down. And the wind that came up this afternoon really made it obvious that they should have put a couple instructions in a different order!

I started with the side windows, as that's where I left off. I REALLY should have started with the vent mod, because the sides really started flopping around in the wind. I finally had to pound some old conduit and garden stakes in just to prevent excessive movement.

OK, so here is the extra mod vent window. It really can only go one place in the back, and that's the middle. The instruction assumed that you had to take apart an assembled unit, EITHER on the side or the end, so there was a lot of unused info before I could actually get to the install. I still have to go back and tweak it, but I only put it in wrong once!

There are about three steps before you get the side wall tops ready to install. Hindsight says you should have had ALL this done and ready as soon as you have the side wall panels installed. Once the wall tops are on, it really starts to get sturdy. After those two pieces, you go around the side and clamp the panel to an exterior piece.

Then the front gable is pre-assembled, and you try like heck not to have it sail away while you guide the edges into the extrusion slots sticking up at the top. It took a lot of fussing with the 6 bolts to get everything where it would fasten. I saw tonight that this will be one of the "go back and fuss over" locations, as the bottom of the windows are not quite right.

The back was a LOT simpler. Line up the vertical slots, then slide the covers up the angles and fasten. Still took a lot of fussing, because the wind popped out one of the frames just after I got the last bolt in place (not tight). Now both ends complete....

You know I can't stop until I have a roof, right? This wasn't so bad, except that this is where I needed to install the second mod - additional vent. So I did one, broke open the kit, ID'd the parts, and just duplicated what I had done on the other side. Marked and stored the remaining parts. BOTH vents will have an Automatic Opener modification too, so the top you see open will both be different than the factory. They also have to be staggered, and can't be on the end sections.

So, there is only two supports left, and I can do the roof panels! So, I keep on, but I am needing a beer to focus! You can't really see the last supports, so half a roof, then a whole roof!

And, that's it for the day. Assemble the two mod vent tops, then the door, then adjust all the needed bolts to make it right, and punch list every bolt. I am also not liking how the roof securement clips hold the bottom of the panel. I have them installed three different ways, even though they are all clipped on the same. The extrusion offers options, and the picture is vague.

So, a beer to close it out, right? One more day!

Thanks guys! A lot lighter than my bumper :muscleflexing:, but a lot more hardware! Almost there. I think it's errands and mow today, my body aches, and death by 1000 little cuts!
Have a great camp out Josh - before I forget again!
