New Serp Belt and Pulleys today!

this was a super easy and I should have done it a long time ago. One thing I noticed, is all of the OEM bearings were perfect. No play, no excessive wear, just smooth and quiet.

Also noticed I’m low on coolant. I’m probably Overdue from a flush and fill lol

Also, look at all the junk in the reservoir!

For the whole truck? Orrrrr. I'm hoping I can get my whole truck coated in durabak this week. I'm curious how it'll turn out.

Once I can source the very specific type of roller they recommend I'm going to get to it. Hopefully, the local Sherwin Williams has it, otherwise, I'll eBay it up. I was going to spray it on but then I'd need a paint gun and a LOT of plastic to mask off my entire truck and garage. This'll be a lot easier.

yeah that’s a good call. I can’t even fit my car in my garage so I’m eager to see what the roll on looks like!

Looks like it turned out great! how many coats did you put on? My biggest fear is streaking in the texture itself

I used a rattle can bed liner the other day on something and the coverage was amazing. It's way easier to get a nice even finish vs paint. Streaks was a concern of mine as well. I don't know about raptor liner but the durabak is self leveling.

Also whatever you decide on, make sure it has UV protection.

for sure! my flares are bare plastic with a layer of 309 on them for now. UV isn't on my mind since it seems like it'll be cloudy and rainy for all of 2020.

I might do them in black raptor liner first to dial in the settings. Also I need to find an air compressor haha.
