Looks like I’ll need a bigger mounting plate. I may ask to see if I can test fit one anyways to see if it will even clear the oil fill pipe

If your not running a bunch of accessories I wouldn’t bother with it imho the 24F was plenty for me. I ran lights, fridge, and winched once off it never had an issue.

I'm pretty sure there is a 27F with a smaller footprint base.

Ok thanks. I just have my ARB, pop&lock for my shell, and a water pump hooked up to it. Don't run any extra lights or other stuff. I'll just go with the 24F then.
Just gonna go with the 24F for now as I need a new battery asap. I'll do some research for the next one though

:thumbsup:It would be worth the hassle sourcing a new trey for a 27F, if your gonna do all that may as well do a group 31 but it’s a heavy SOB.

Eh, since getting my Harley I hardly ever drive my truck, so it's not really worth it right now. Also need to get one in before next week for my trip out to AZ, definitely don't want to be stranded lol, but definitely something to look in to for the future.

I went 27f because of winch, lights, ect. It fits but overhangs the tray left to right. You can remove the tray as it doesnt do anything in supporting the battery or just leave it in place which is what I did. The stock tie downs still work to hold the battery in place like they are meant to.

Ran out and grabbed a pic. Its only hanging over one side. I could center it a little better also.

A regular 27F is the same price as the 24F. I’m gonna get it. Headed there now.

Good news though, I cleared the check engine and trac off light by disconnecting the battery earlier

:rofl: I just grabbed the first one I could find shaped like that. For the most part though, these are expensive batteries. I am pretty sure all gel batteries are though.
