I guess I am lucky. The care given to my folks has been outstanding. It might be because of small town, rural America.
My Dad's downward spiral was painful to see... from a strong man to assisted living to a dementia ward in a nursing home to his week long death bed in a hospital. It's a hard thing to see and not a fucking thing I could do about it.

I'm running a North Star 24F agm in my truck. I run my fridge 24/7, winch occasionally and when I'm camping/off-road I have my rock lights and sometimes other aux lights on the whole time. No problems, except with my budget fridge draining my battery lol

Fuck. I forgot where I pulled the stray cable that has a terminal ring. All I know is it’s for my speaker setup and my speakers don’t work now lol. I think it’s a ground cable but idk

Ya it confused the shit out of me too. It even says “ground” on the sheath. But my previous picture had it connected to the positive terminal. It’s on positive now and speakers work again

My head rests with built-in DVD players aren't working, either. I've been trying to figure it out for months lol.

Yep, although now they're not turning on. I think I disconnected something when I had the interior apart for the custom roof rack.

My previous diagnosis was the actual head unit connections/internal driver were damaged, as the FM radio no longer works, as well.

Yea, the nursing home system here is a disgrace. I have seen some nasty shit. That's why they don't allow any video recording. I have taken photos though unbeknownst to them. Once I took a pic of my Moms dinner. It looked ok. The rice on the plate looked cooked well. Then I took a pic of her menu they serve with it so the person making it and the person delivering can check the dietary restrictions are being followed. It said "no rice, choking hazard". That was after my Mom said "I'm not suppose to have rice, I choke on it".

I took it to the duty nurse immediately. She had some lame ass excuse. If there are instances like this where I don't feel or my Mom doesn't feel like she's being treated to her satisfaction what they like to say (and they all say this) "since we can't meet her needs maybe she would be better off at a another facility". I blew up with them one time in a meeting when they said this.

If she didn't need 24 hour medical care she would be here.

AGM's are pricey. Part of the reason I want to stick with a normal battery for my starting battery when I go dual. Its hard to spend the money on 1 AGM let alone 2 matching ones.

That's pretty typical. Those types of places are 10% good people and 90% human garbage.
