New to this but I just bought a 2020 Toyota Tacoma premium series had an 09 before love the truck

Putting in a new Hertz system in it but having a hard time finding a sub for the back driver side Back seat

Welcome, if you have a premium optioned truck, it should already have the JBL sub unless you're trying to add an additional sub which is gonna be rough because the JBL system unlike the stock setup is a nightmare to upgrade, totally different harnesses, wiring, etc. Good luck!

Not a premium truck then, and better for you for upgrading! Lots of options, I wanna say JL made a box for the back.

No prob, I have the JBL, its a nice factory upgrade, but not worth it in my opinion. Did you check out the audio forum section? Lots of good stuff from wiring guides to setup recommendations.

Weird, I thought that was part of the premium option.

edit: just looks like for double cab it is.

I think the sticker mentions premium audio or something like that and OP is mentioned it not realizing there's a specific premium package which yes is what you mentioned, premium gotta have the JBL.

 

You caught me in an edit, just for double cab it is part of the premium option package. It's part of it's own option for other cabs.

 

Huh? There is a premium audio package but it doesnt include JBL, can't get JBL stand alone as a separate option from the premium package with leather, etc. OP might have the premium audio package which gives you dual climate control and "premium audio".

 

huh, this is where I pulled off the packages on the TRD OR, looks like you are right, there is a reduced premium audio package that is separate from the premium package.

Gotcha, you're talking about the premium package in a DC vs AC, which yes the AC doesnt have JBL in that package but the heated seats, etc. What I was saying as of 2020 there is an additional package they refer to as I showed and in that link you posted called "premium audio with dynamic navigation" which doesn't have JBL, leather or heated seats, etc. just the climate control and what they consider upgraded audio with navigation, figuring OP might have meant premium as in the premium audio package vs premium package. For him what matters if it's JBL or non JBL which makes a huge difference trying to upgrade the factory system and was trying to clarify for him.
