Oh, the days of being in an eastern block country...
In a greasy basement beer hall under a government building...
double shots of Vodka straight up, with beer chasers.
The Vodka was ice cold and the beer was piss warm...
Don't know what hurt the worst the next day...
Head from drinking or your ribs from laughing. Crazy f#cks...

I think I just felt my liver twitch! :itllbuffout: Poor thing.

Just finished up some bed stiffeners. Had to trim a bit off the slide on order to slide them in. Easier than removing the tray.

Next up is the switch panel. Now I'll have to find stuff to fill the other empty spots.

what's the best way in feeding a cable from the battery to the bed of the truck? I'm debating on opening up a hole with a grommet and sneaking it in from the underside of the bed. that way the power cables for the lights can be yoinked off at the pod)

+1 Even the factory bed light kit's instructions has you ziptie to existing wiring and brake lines from point a to b,

If you saw how the techs do it the dealership you would start twitching.....

Your PC mod background has given you master skilz for this.

It's just a bigger, greasier Computer case... water cooled from the factory.... no turbo button though...

So as some in here know in really into knives and axes. So decided to try converting a full flat grind knife with a secondary bevel (basically common knife grind) into a convex edge. Convex are way better at holding an edge because of the added size behind the edge. Cut through wood for both feather sticks and batoning significantly better. Also way better for slicing, most high end Japanese kitchen knives are essentially convex ground but different term is used.

Either way it's no easy task and not something there's really a guide for. This was all done freehand progressing through stones and about an hour of work. And oh man will it cut now.

    Original bevel

I do have an 8000 grit chosera as well but didn't feel like going that much of a polished edge.

All I can say is this was a lot more work than I thought in terms of time but wasn't as hard as I actually expected.
But holy shit is it ever sharp now.
And for those wondering about whetstone just understand quality stones are expensive but worth it.

Don't worry, soon you'll hate 'Berta. Just wait  The only escape from that flat hell was Jasper/Banff

Anything between BC and ON is a pure :crapstorm:. I worked all across there :drunk:

Turns out the "Knight Rider" sequence runs when the DRLs are first powered on with these Alpharex headlights:

Also installed the 2020 TRD grille and hard-mounted the Podofo front cam.

Go down in the corner of the bed. Run it where ever you can along the frame.

    OOOOH! Very nice!
