    Howdy. First post here.

Back in 97 I bought an F150 4wd, and the brochure stated the overall length (OAL) was 222.3 inches. I had a 19 ft garage (228 inches, plus about an extra half inch for the garage door configuration). I like a vehicle in the garage cause I like them to last aesthetically as well as mechanically and don't like the driveway cluttered. When I pulled in the F150, I had to touch the wall to get it to fit. Thought it would be room to spare. Nope. Back then, American manufacturers used to not count the bumper in the OAL because it was common to have dealer mounted or after market bumpers installed immediately and they had differing depths so they just gave the OAL without bumper dimensions. The extra 4 inches for the bumper almost made me have to park outside, as touching the wall with the actual 226.3 OAL gave me about 1.5 inches to spare.

I still have the F150, but am looking to sell it and another car and buy a 2020 Tacoma TRD Off Road. I would like the DC Long Bed for the extra bed space, but the dimensions show 225.5, which would give me about .75 extra over the F150. However, if the OAL stated for the Tacoma long bed does not include the bumper, there is no way this will fit. I don't dislike the short beds, but would not want to sacrifice the bed length if need not be.

Can anyone here lend some insight on whether Toyota includes the bumper in the OAL measurements?

    Thanks.
