That person did not get the correct cluster number for his vehicle. Nothing is missing, all pages there, even cruise, inclinometer. His splicing is not necessary either. Its a guide but not very accurate.

And talking about the mirror... I’ve been thinking about buying a scrap rectangle piece of very thin mirror and glue it to the sun visor... my wife always complains about that....

    Hi
Did you end up doing this? Was the wiring there or did you have to add it? Thanks!

I got a visor with mirror from LKQ. it came with both the male and female wiring plug. Tried to find a power source to the map lights in the overhead panel. Every wire I tried, something else turned on when i opened the mirror cover. Running a small wire under the roof liner, down the drivers door pillar to the fuse block is the way it works best. Also replacing the bulbs with LEDs will lower the current draw to almost nothing.

When you find an led that works nicely please post back.
I've read a lot of posts on different leds that were too bright. Old fashioned glow of bulb might be way to go IMO.

I'm obviously late to this post as I just bought an SR and am happy I did and upgrading. I'm not new to boards like this and people who are negative. Why slight other people? Just saying!

Yeah, it kinda sucks, but I just use the opportunity to add people like capital G to the ignore list, so all is not lost

i added a clip on mirror for my wife. i did run power for an auto dimming rear view with homelink. it wouldnt be difficult to pull power to a vanity mirror in the sun visor.

I dont disagree with you but the SR is a work truck trim. No frills. Its what you agreed to buy and frankly the mirror wasnt a deal breaker for me atleast

If you add it up, you are paying more for a SR5 or higher end trim than buying an SR with a package that includes minimal things such remote door locks and such. Everything else can be added on cheaper, and you will have a better suspension (ex. Fox), better sound system and head, fog lights, tires/rims, etc. in the end. Flip the old (new) stuff on fleabay. Little effort but worth it than getting a plain jane. Many people rip that stuff off and upgrade anyway. Now if you need crawl etc. which most don't that's another story. I've seen SR's that look way better than many higher end trims.
