New Bearings and Rollers from 365 Garage Door Parts came in today for my remaining Garage Doors. Probably should have parked the Tacoma in the garage for the video  It'll be in there tomorrow for Wheel Spacers & a KTJO 4x4 "Tailgate Bolt-N-Lock & Tailgate Bolt-N-Open", but I got excited seeing the box on the stoop.

Not sure how well the linked videos show the sound reduction, but it is significant in person. Maybe I'll get motivated now and lube the hinges. Do you think that's going overboard o_O

Spent the last 3 days at a buddy's shop installing a Total Chaos 2" Expedition LT kit on the front and Deaver U402s on the rear.

Did cam tab and spindle gussets. CMC in progress. Extended all four brake lines. Put new wheels and 285/75R17 Toyo Open Country R/T tires on.

Have Hammer Hangers and shock relocations towers coming for the rear but wanted to get to work so threw some longer shocks on the rear until I install my Kings.

    * Temp wheels. Will be for sale in a few weeks.

Lift, wheels and tires are on, could not be more stoked with how it turned out!

Lift: Eibach pro lift springs and shocks set to middle notch (supposed to be 2.5” of lift) With Headstrong single AAL (supposed to be 1.5-2” of lift)

    Tires: Nitto Ridge Grappler 285 75 16

Wheels: matte dark bronze scs ray 10 16x8, with spidertrax 1.25 wheel spacers

Only drove it home from the shop so far but no rubbing at all. CMC and plastic trimming we’re necessary especially with the wheel spacers.

With all The old suspension components, 5 tires, and 4 wheels still in the bed the truck sits perfectly level. Guess it will have a slight rake once the load is removed; which is exactly how I was hoping it would turn out.

Here is some rainy day pics of the final product!

Just took a couple more pics in better lighting

I really love how these wheels almost look black in low light conditions and from far away but the bronze is a bit more noticeable in brighter light. Scs did a great job with this color in my opinion.

They have double sided tape that holds them on, but since I will be taking my seats out soon for some wiring, I just put them on top. They kinda snap into place and stay pretty well even without the tape.

Sooo, cut the rough openings on the driver side of the Epic home made expedition "I'm too cheap to buy one camper" and for those who may be new, the name of this thing will change every day. Yesterday, it was called, "That phucking thing is killing me" LMAO.

Oh, almost dried in....paint next week I hope.

Edit; There will be a window in the front but not until I find one under $17,000 phucking dollars. These people are crazy stupid on window prices.

Just finished installing a front skid plate from Greenland Off-road of BC. The cost was $300 CAD which is about $225.

    582BA187-612C-4240-93BB-5DB32C419AB2.jpg

The fit is great, the install took 10 minutes. It’s made out of 1/4” aluminum. Because i am concerned with weight (believe it or not) and because we’re not planning on rock crawling, aluminum was the perfect choice. It weighs only 12 lbs and after removing the splash guard and its mounting brackets I think it was only a gain of a couple of pounds.

Picture shows the new skid plate, Baja Designs S8, the warn winch hidden behind the license plate, and the CBI T3 bumper.

I also gave it a wash, it hit almost 90 today!
