Like any thing else it comes down to hard it gets used . I bought a old used Maytag about 5 years ago No electronics.

2 loads a week one work clothing one non work clothing and socks .

It seems the newer they get the more fragile they become.

Yes and no, I have the full length of the bed to play with, which under normal circumstances would be more than enough for all my crap. But there’s a few things that I don’t want to just leave in the open there

Agreed. Winters are pretty heavy on laundry as there's extra flannels, jackets, etc. My work pants and long sleeve's (arc flash gear, so they don't want us washing them anyways) are laundered for me so I don't have to worry about them. We typically do 3-5 loads a week, but I guess since I was on vacation and needed to wash bed clothing (4 loads in one day...), it didn't like the extra work. I'm going to see if I can find something from the late 80's early 90's next go around...

We are still in full lockdown mode here in the northeast...and will be for awhile. Ugh.

What a wild day it was here yesterday weather-wise. Last evening we were still having periods of almost total whiteout, had pellet snow at one point, followed by brilliant sunshine. Bring on the locusts!!

Enjoy your day!! Time to put the Supers on the new bee hives and collect some spring honey!
