I have a 2008 and want better headlights but I don’t feel comfortable doing it myself and don’t have my own tools. I know it’s tedious so how much would you charge to retrofit headlights. Thanks

I saw his post last night too and I’m kinda tempted to pull the trigger. Seems like a fair price plus the whole no shipping charges is a HUGE! Plus

Very true. So far, I put in my order. He has about 3 people ahead of me. Will take about 2 weeks before he can start on mine and is about a 3-4 day build time. I’ll keep y’all updated.

I build lights and ship to Hawaii all the time. Can work deals. Btw that guy in the Facebook link is using acme h1 projectors which are cheaper plastic projectors similar to eBay ones. Nothing like the morimoto projectors. Output and cutoff are not comparable to the morimoto but are better than stock still. Good luck!

Yeah the Morimoto projectors are great I did mind about 8 or 9yrs ago easy installation I did a simple H1 retrofit an love it an still do only had to replace ballasts after six years, the oem head lights can’t compare to the Morimotos here’s a pic.

I was hesitant to post pics but here it is. It’s nice but my experience with who I dealt with wasn’t good IMO so I’d have a hard time recommending him to you guys. I had to do additional repairs after install but now that almost everything works, it looks good! If you still want to try him out, send me a pm and I can point you in his direction. I’ve heard others have dealt with him successfully. I just don’t like recommending when I wasn’t fully happy!

Looks good, RJ! But, yeah, sometimes service and product reliability can make or break a deal.

My retrofits had issues very early on (within two month after install...cracking of the front lens). After having to deal with the company, I never recommend them.

I’ve been wanting another set and now that I have them on-hand...I’m looking forward to putting the new ones on soon!
