Hey guys, I just purchased a 2006 Toyota Tacoma, and it has the upgraded jbl stereo system. I want to install my Sony XAV AX1000 into the car, but I have no idea how to go from the JBL system to my receiver. I’ve tried looking at harnesses everywhere I just don’t know what to get!

It's a pain, because the JBL systems are amplified and I believe the stock speakers are a different impedance than an aftermarket deck will be (4 ohm). I ended up replacing the entire system in my truck, but there are adapters you can get from Metra and Scosche https://www.scosche.com/car-stereo-connector/lpta15
