Toyota technician diag confirmation

Would like someone (preferably a Toyota tech) to double check my work here. This is regarding my 2015 Camry. We’ve had a ton of rain recently, just started getting warm and dry in the last couple days, inside the car started smelling a little funky. Thought maybe my wife left some sort of food under one of the seats or spilled something so I investigated a bit today, nothing gross to be found inside the cab. Looked in the trunk and found water under the spare tire. I looked around for possible weatherstrip failure, everything looked ok. “Water tested” the trunk by spraying around all the seams with it closed and then looking for a point of water entry, nothing to be found. Removed all the trim and panels, found this blue tube dangling (I’m assuming it is a sun roof drain tube). There is a similar tube on the passenger side that is attached to a little outlet. I re-attached the tube to it’s corresponding outlet and cleaned up the water/disinfected the trunk. I’m fairly certain that was the cause of water intrusion I’d just like a confirmation from someone with experience with these particular cars. Thanks!

Put a ziptie or hose clamp around the tube so it doesn't fall off the spigot.

With the trunk closed, spray around the tail light seams with a pressure washer - that's another entry point for water if you haven't checked already.

yes, the drain tube was the source. the sunroof leaks by design and has gutters around it to drain it off.

Don't need to be a Toyota tech to confirm a mis-routed drain tube, all cars with sunroofs are set up in a similar way
