Looking at getting some running boards. I'm not a crazy off reader and don't have the coin to drop 600 on sliders so running boards will do for now.

    Anyone have some suggestions?

    Thanks

Takeoffs. They go for sale here fairly frequently and I often see local craigalist ads for them. That will by far be your cheapest option.

All 2005-2020 double cab steps that use the factory holes will fit your truck. I suggest take offs. If you offroad don't get these:

Yeah I'm staying away from the steps because I'd def get snagged.

I don't use the ones on my side, I installed them for my wife (truck has a lift and big tires). She's gained some weight but ain't that heavy yet...

    damn that's funny...

    I don't offroad (yet) either.

They're aluminum and I'm guessing there 1/8"-3/16" thick. For steps they're pretty stout.
