Wish there was a way I could Jerry rig this to work with my Dometic. I’m all ears if any electrical engineers have any tips on a way to make that happen. GLWS!

Not to thread jack but wouldn’t it just be easier to use the Dometic app?

I don’t know anything about these but thus looks like a standalone device, is that not the case?

It doesn’t adjust temps so far as I can tell, just tells you what they are with a power off/power on button for the display itself.

Why can’t it be used anywhere?

That’s exactly why I was hoping to be able to pair it with my Dometic. I have the CC 40 so it’s not the latest or greatest Dometic but it runs like a champ and hoping to just find something to help me stay informed with it.

The antenna attaches to the fridge, and the monitor can be mounted somewhere else. Its just a monitor, you cannot adjust temps from it

Then that sounds like something I should be able to use then

That’s what I’m saying. It’s just a thermistor with display.
    Should be totally universal.

Are you sure you don’t own a third gen? You do realize Dometic has an app for monitoring your battery, temperature levels, and that lets you change the temperature setting?

He has a super old model. Probably before bluetooth was invented
