Primarily purchased it for hood protection. But you know, that's an excellent question. It was on the colder side here in NC last week so I think most of the bugs stayed home. Plan to get it out on the highway next weekend and it is supposed to be significantly warmer. The conditions may be about right. I'll try to remember to make a mental note and reply with my observations.

Installed the @CaliRaisedLed channel supports today. Simple to install, wish I’d have done it sooner.

might be a dumb question but did you come across with it or do a series of plunging cuts. I ask because my oscillating tool look like it’s more for plunging cuts. I use it to clear door jams mostly.

Pretty much finished the dog platform. I didn't have enough of the speaker carpet to get the legs and braces but I can get that later.20200510_172225.jpg

You can paint the leg black. No carpet needed. Up to you.

Add the second panel! It's never a problem figuring out creative ways to burn that extra power!

    Minor stuff.
Saturday I removed the Toyota letters from the grill. Sanded, cleaned, primed, painted and clear coated them. Let them dry overnight and installed them on Sunday. Also added the tricolor striping decals to the grill. For the tail lights, I removed the Rustoleum lens tint. It was too matted for my liking and I did not like the product itself. Finally found a can of VHT Nightshades. They came out exactly the way I wanted them too. Just used two coats. They’re dark and shine but not blacked out And matted like the Rustoleum.

I also ordered a new antenna and a pair Relentless Fabrication bed rail accessory mount for the ham radio and CB.

Has anybody used these mounts before for an antenna? I want a 102” whip for the CB from what I read, you need a good strong base. And drilling and installing a ball mount and spring is not happening.

direct quote from OP of the thread (same quote as the link in my post)

Bought this harness for my ditch lights and come with a remote control, you can then use the garage button to learn the buttons from that control you now have a use for those buttons...

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KLNFP4H/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_HN8CEbB0BNNAA

I used a module from another company, I will not link them as i refuse to do buisnes with them ever again. They were forced to send the harness to me by Amazon after they tried to do a $120 price hike from the original $30 as a TLDR. If you wish to avoid or check out the harness anyways; PM me and i'll provide a name
If you dont trust amazon; the Front Runner guys also sell them

You can check the rest of the thread here for any other details here:

I've not had my morning coffee yet. If anyone wants a write up, i can do a step by step for this afterwards. Surprisingly easy enough to do

EDIT: here is the writeup; https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/wireless-harness-programmed-to-stealth-garage-opener.665836/
