I realize it's always a long shot to diagnose odd noises in a forum, but thought I would give it a try none the less. I have a 2018 Off Road with 20k on the odometer. Just recently, I noticed a creaking noise when turning at low speed, and it seems to be getting worse. First noticed it in a drive thru, pulling up to the speaker, and it seems to get louder as the truck warms up. Only hear it at low speed turns, such as parking lots, both in forward and reverse, possibly worse in reverse.

Turning the wheels while stationary doesn't creak much if at all, only when I start moving. Jumping on my sliders while stationary doesn't appear to make the noise either, so it would seem that the suspension or a body mount is not the problem.

Not sure its related, but about 2 to 3 weeks before the creaking noises, my front driver side was making a creaking noise when applying the brakes after some wheeling. The next morning, found a stick wedged between the front driver disk brake and wheel when cleaning it at the spray and wash. Pulled out stick, no more sounds, well until some weeks later.

Still under warranty, and can take it in, but worried about dealer being able to recreate sound, find problem and/or saying it's normal.

Might be a bit premature, but it appears my rear CBI skid was making the noise, likely by rubbing on the frame as it flexed. Once the skid was removed, the noise went away.

I always grease the interfaces between skid and frame went mounting, but it appears a fight with a mudhole in Arkansas (which managed to get mud into every nook and cranny) eventually caught up with me.

Also learned something new: don't cover up cross member drain holes with skid plates unless you want your cross members full of mud. Going to need to cut another hole in this CBI plate.
