Get the Moog sway bar links. 20% beefier, greaseable, and has a nice square wrench flat at the base of the stud.

And 3/4" is interchangeable with 19mm, only .002" difference. :p

Sealant.....I feel like the hinge gets a bead of sealant between the hinge and the door?

if not. Start the cage and tube doors.

You sure it's not from loading hefty women into your rig on datenight,
they could be leaning on the door a little hard when they are going after that pork chop you tossed in the passenger seat.

When I dropped the headliner of my Prado I found the adhesive between the roof cross member and the roof had separated - I sub'ed PL2000 to fill the void..

    A KW region question.

When I first got the Prado and was working through the items to get is safetied (Mostly checking and fluids) there was a tiny weep from (assumed) the water pump. It came from under the cover, over the frame and made a pie plate spot two mornings after I ran the engine for service the night before.

Once it was on the road though it has not made any spots of coolant and as far as I can tell. The front of the motor is dry - so I _assume_ there was a dry seal or something that swelled once the truck started running daily.

But that brought to mind replacement. (It has only 107K on the clock)

My typical bad weather / need it in a rush / mechanic has never done a 3.4 timg belt / water pump and my back up guy (Who is Asian specific repair) has not done one before as well.

Does anyone know of a reasonable place in the K/W / Cambridge / Brant Area who is well versed in the belt and pump?

I may do it myself over the summer, but I may just farm it out if something happens and I can not find the spare time to do it myself.

Seems that is a fairly common engine here, lol just not a common vehicle.

Does not look any different than any other timing belt job...

Only place I remember in the KW area was the Flywheels car club in Cambridge, but that was just a shop where you could rent a bay to restore your vehicle in.

Yes - I had watched Timmy the tool man's video a few times Both part 1 and part 2.

Rock Auto has the entire kit (All OEM, including Asin water pump and Toyota brand tensioner) for $275CDN

The Scleg (sp?) tool I do not have, nor a 205ft lb Ratchet (Just an 80 now) but that is easy at princess.

The Rad I will do in the next month or so as this rad is 22 yrs old and don't want Strawberry Milkshake - Rock also has the Denso to my door (All taxes, fees and shipping) is $20 less the pre-tax cost up here for knock off one and $60 less than the Denso (pre tax) up here.

Louie at Active Green and Ross in Cambridge is a good mechanic. I think he is the owner of that location too. He replaced the engine in my wife’s daily driver when bearing in the bottom end failed, and he put a new clutch in my dad’s Porsche.

In laws went to Johannesburg on a hunting safari. Their tour guide owned this beauty. Had an additional fuel tank and was equipped to shoot from the bed.

Nice! I had to contend with the "troop carrier" version in Egypt with no bed shooting platform:

Rust is slowly eating away at my Subaru. The RH ground strap broke 6 months ago. Changed the oil today and noticed the LH ground strap broke. $8 Dorman P/N 60213 to the rescue!

Also replaced a broken exhaust heat shield clamp with a stainless hose clamp:

If you like 70 series and Troupies you should fall into the 100's of hours on Andrew Saint Piere White's channel...

    He builds some nice ones..

The Alpharex converter harness needed for TRD trucks had two cut wires with exposed conductors. According to Alpharex, it's the result of a last-minute rework at the factory:

I potted the connector with some liquid electrical tape, Gardner Bender P/N LTB-400. First time using this stuff!

3" lift. $10K in TRD options. Richie's semi-hidden bumper, and soon his Elka suspension
That's "foaming spot sealer" in there. I used to put that on the 1989 Corollas...

@Norilsk - extreme flex appeal has it's price! That's sealer around the hinges - I didn't put that stuff on Corollas... That was sealer line after ED - I was in main body...
