I figured the bike wasn't worth much but I do need a hobby since i can't ride for a few days right now lol. I'll pop the mechs off and clean em out as best I can and hope for the best. Thanks!

I’ve got an older road bike I’m trying to keep running so I can spend the $ on mountain bike gear.

gripshifts have started to essentially melt into my hands. Can’t replace them without replacing the shifter. Bike probably isn’t even worth that.

any recommendation on material I can wrap it in to stop having grip residue coating my hands or gloves every time I ride?

    thank you!

There's only one part I disagree with in that video:

The pedal platforms are def 100% made in the same mold from the same factory, it's not a "knockoff" copy. No way you can get it that exact on a imitation MIC budget. The difference in bearing protection is all due to contracting to a lower price point. Totally common in Chinese mfg to make a brand name product on day shift, then run a few hundred off brand on swing and sell them "out the back door". Brand marking could be changed with an insert swappable in about 5 minutes. As far as showing up first on the search, that's because is a "sponsored" product. Race Face could pay the same premium fee and get the top "sponsored" spot as well.

*Currently work for a plant making injection molded resin products, this is my bread and butter.

I have yet to make it up the LCC quarry trail, but I will one of these days.

Seriously though, High Star Ranch is a must ride for you.

Hit the Chase to RadKe trail yesterday. Holy Moly, that was a rowdy ride. The climb up sucks with all the switchbacks, but so worth the down!

Hahaha, I think it was that same guy that was swooning over my buddies F-250 last year (didn't have the drifter on my truck yet). Truthfully, the drifter doesn't often get noticed unless I pop it up, but once we pop it people swarm.

We went and toured main chute at Alta saturday and my wife stayed in the lot with my daughter. They were trying to nap in the camper and random dudes kept coming over and bugging them. I'm always happy to talk about the truck, but my wife, not as much.

Yeah amazing bike. Handled nice on a black diamond. Its light and poppy, felt like more than 130mm sometimes.

Kind of a spur of the moment decision this weekend, but sold the hardtail Stache 9.7 to a buddy who was looking for a hardtail and ended up buying a left over 2019 Full Stache 8. Call me crazy, but I’m addicted to plus size tires. So much fun.

As much of a wicked fun monster truck as my Stache is, I can only imagine how fun it could be with a little squish thrown in the mix. Always wanted to demo one, but scared because I know I'd take one home.

It’s got such a bmx feel. Sending it over doubles and down some decent drops is legit.

That’s what I’ve been wondering. I love my stache but I’ve been up in Massachusetts for a few weeks and the closest trail is slower/rockier/natural than what I’m used to in NOVA, it’s been giving me a beating haha. I can’t just hop over stuff like I’m used to haha

Hopefully before I leave Thursday. It's on the list for sure.
If you do LCC, you need to find the "secret" trails. Don't come back down the way you came! If you need more info, check out my Strava or hit me up.

Crazy! All you plus fans need:help:. Like the weirdos that like the single speed grinds. Something wrong with you lot.
