I have the 87 Tacoma hanging on my mirror in my 17 Tacoma. My truck is red and I took a red 87 and soaked all the decals off of it and detailed it out. Also have a black one that is still carded. Its about ready for a redo after hanging there in the sun for 2+ years. Maybe that could be a future project to post here.

 

Last of the 1/43s. Have to shoot some of the 1/18s and models next.

 

Had time today to work on that 87 Tacoma I mentioned a couple posts back.
It was worse than I thought so I did a quickie on it. After 2.5 years in the sun hanging from my rear view mirror it was ruined.
I removed the roll bar and installed a tonneau cover that I made from a 1/24 Willy's model tonneau. The tail pipes were drilled into the rear end and are from a junk 429 model engine that was injected. The rest is bare metal foil, sharpies and diluted semi gloss paint and 2.5 hours of my time. The paint is some old rattle can Krylon with a coat of clear over it. Its enough that I want to try this again on something in better condition. Never worked on something so small. Laugh if you want.

 

It's a hell of a lot cooler than it was if you ask me.

Hot Wheels Wednesday Week 19

 

Was able to grab Two out the Five Led Zeppelin Collections from the Led Zeppelin Store. Zeppelin 1 and Zeppelin 2. These will stay in the Blister Packs.

 

They will market anything wont they? Still neat.
Brings back the parties I went to in the late 70s when you'd hear Green Grass and High Tides, Free Bird, Stairway to Heaven and then pass out with Dark Side of the Moon. Good times. Still trying to figure out how I am still here today after all that.

These are for Toyota Crawler. I like to take pictures like he does with real cars. I thought I was the only one doing that until I saw his shots. Now I have to try that with the 1/64s. Its funny when you do this and people are looking at you and you know they are thinking "what the hell".
