You could build a new wall on top of the existing block/drywall wall to hide all the plumbing. Then you will have room to have a modern washing machine hookup, and properly angled sink drain hidden the wall.

It will only cost you four inches of floor space.

I can’t lose 4 inches of floor space in there haha. It’s a 6x6 room..

You really won't notice the loss of space. Besides, hiding the plumbing would make the room look bigger, not to mention better.

    Just ask the fiance...

Haha yeah...that’s more work. I’ll convince her to put it in the sink before offering up that option.

We had the swing set at our old house when I moved it I noticed it was all rotted. I reused some of the old not much. If I was to do it again I would start from scratch. I would bet that you could build one for 1/3 of the price of buying one.

Someone on here said they hated tyvek so I used it just to be a pain:rofl:
Soffits in, one wall ready to side, onto the next two.. termite and water damage already along the bottom so this will be fun. At least the siding and windows fall off since theres nothing solid left to hold em in

Lined our tractor rim fire pit with landscape bricks from the front flower bed. Now I got to dig the flower bed up with the tractor.

(rant) For the past while my project at work has been in the metric world. (designing electronics) But today's honey-do project involves decorating a room using a design layout software that does everything in feet and inches. So, in my metric mind set I'm measuring the room in inches. It's a funky shape with lots of windows, and by the time I'm done I've got quite a list of measurements; 207", 160", 105", 73" etc, etc. Then the software insists that I convert all my inch measurements to feet / inches and WTF. Shit like that is way too much work. Damn the imperial system is a pain in the ass.

    I feel your pain.

I like being able to use both in AutoCAD as I have a tendency to bounce back and forth.

Until I lay out something for my 3D printer. That only uses millimeters and I have to lay it out with inches in AutoCAD (at least that's just a multiplier in Cura) or mm in Tinkercad. My brain doesn't understand mm to inches so there's a lot of Google conversion involved. o_O

I try to stay in one world or the other, going back and forth is too much work.

I’m a machinist, constantly converting back and forth between different customer supplied drawings. I can’t stand metric.

We have a customer from Germany, their drawings rotate backwards from what I’m used to. Confused sometime!!!

Been trying for years to get grass to grow here, this year i'm working from home, so I am going to make it happen. This is what I've got right now, I need to do some more dirt filling in places.

I've switched to mowing with a vintage reel mower that I got from some Amish people, I love the way it cuts, how quiet it is, and its great physical therapy for my legs. Next weekend I will be weeding the area near that swing and filling with dirt to level off the drop off where rail road ties used to be.
