iOS 13.1 causing Head Unit / Bluetooth to crash and restart

Are there any of you experiencing a crashing/looping JBL headunit (when connected to bluetooth) ? Getting no help from dealerships and/or corporate about its integration w/ the new iOS 13.1 release. Apparently QA isnt a thing anymore ? Since this update, my iphone causes my bluetooth to trip - eventually prompting an endless cycle of restart to crash. Any recommendations on the fix as i'm about ready to sell my 2019 TRD. Toyota is telling me to either get a new phone, or wait until Apple or Toyota fixes it via patch.

 

Turn off contacts/messaging for the Tacoma on your IPhone. Fixed my headunit rebooting.

Definitely an IOS and Toyota connectivity issue. Been posted a couple times on the forums.

I have the same issue with my new Iphone 11 pro. Whenever i start my truck and the bluetooth auto connects, the trucks audio crashes and restarts endlessly. I found out if i turn my phone’s Bluetooth off, then turn it on after the truck’s system has booted up it works. It’s a hassle that i hope is fixed with an update soon
