O'Keeffe's Working Hands seems to work for me. This past winter saw my knuckle skin crack for the first time. Out of everything I used, O'Keeffe's seemed to have the greatest effect. Burned though.

No matter what I use (normally Gold Bond) my fingertips split open in the winter. The extra washing/sanitizing only makes it worse.

In other news, the fight against 'The Man' continues.

When I was hired here, it was under the agreement that I'd be moving into management shortly. I was placed in sales as a "learning spot" to get familiar with the industry.

Turns out, as some of you may remember that the position I was hired to fill at a later date was pulled out from under me because the owners wife didnt want to pay someone to do the job. (Greed)

So, now I'm stuck in sales, with no strategic plan for the company, no vision or mission statement of any substance from the CEO, no marketing budget, but I'm supposed to meet my sales goals to make more than my tiny base salary.

Luckily for my company, my current studies focus SOLELY on creating culture, vision and mission as well as strategic planning. (I just took a 400 level course last semester titled "Strategic Planning" and aced it....so....there's that)

They want to call in a consultant. Pay that consultant who doesnt have any idea about the culture of the industry or company, to create a strategic plan....

I worked up a PowerPoint in about 20 minutes based of the very vague memories of that class last semester and submitted it to them.

They pulled me in to 4 meetings now, picking my brain, attempting to pull more info from me so they can do a strategic plan without me, using my knowledge.

Now they are pulling me in to a meeting to give me shit about my call reports (of which i dont have much because ALL OF MY CUSTOMERS HAVE BEEN CLOSED FOR 2 MONTHS). It's quite possible today is my last day.

    Damn man.....

First, stop smoking, that dries your skin out. (Listen, i know you're probably not gonna be like "OH hey, Roll Tide said to quit, so I'm done...." I'm a former smoker, so I get it.

Secondly, cover your hands in vasaline and put gloves over them and go to sleep. Or, large amounts of coconut oil. Let that shit soak.

    Then, sand em down....hahaha.

    I'll look that up.

I like the coconut oil because I HATE it when my hands feel greasy.

Picked up one of these kits for the new shooting range I'm building at the house.

    upload_2020-5-12_15-32-11.jpg

Gonna test it out and make some changes....came with the loops, hooks, and some steel to shoot.

Will probably start building my own racks to mount steel from out of pallets, as I have access to a bunch of pallets.
