I havent ridden the bike in 2 weeks. And still has a flat tire. Didnt get it picked up because I want to get 100 more miles before taking it in for the service. But I did find out that I have 7 years of wheel/tire protection from Harley. So free tire for me!

This is why I dont want an adventure bike. I dont want to have to choose between truck or bike. At least with the 48, I cant go offroad with it

Ha thnx for the input! I'm actually gonna be getting the black triple trees, and painting lower fork tubes black as well. So slowly getting rid of little chrome accents here and there. My only concern with wide glide is if the narrow bottom bars will look weird or not. Yours looks pretty sick though. What width fork tubes are on yours?

Edit: I see you have a 48. Did you convert from the stock mid glide trees?

No. I havent done anything except intake/exhaust/tuner/and mini apes. That's just how the 48 is. I believe its 49mm tubes

Here is a picture compared to @LocoLocal narrow bottom apes

Gotcha, yeah I like the look of your mid glide front end. I might go for that. I'm concerned the wide glide will be too fat with my skinny fork tubes.

@LocoLocal you have 14" apes as well?

guess we are at the same mileage. Gotta report how much the 1k service is - before tax. Because CA tax is insane

I think he has 16" or 18". Theyre super tall

Just got back from practicing slaloms, going to head out again in an hour or so to work on some different exercises.

Gotcha. Mine are 14's but they actually measure 16" rise. I know somebody else with Burly 12's and they measure at 14 inches, so I think the people at Burly just dont know how to measure.

I remember I got a wire extension kit when I had my Nightster. The bars I had were 14", but the wires were definitely not. It was a Burly kit.. I think they dont know how to measure.

its an hour + to any dirt bike trails..

And not free tires. I paid for a wheel and tire warranty for 7 years. So if i hit a nail or bend a wheel on a pothole, Harley will replace it at no cost to me. Valid at any dealership in the country. If Im on a trip, and it takes more than a day, then they will put me in a hotel.

... So put that in your pipe and smoke it!

Also, I wouldn't want to ride for 3.5 hours to this view, and then sleep on the ground like a peasant

Those are actually orange balls from the toy aisle at Dollar Tree. I bought some and cut them in half. I’m cheap.

    That’s awesome.

I might try and get some miles on today but it’s been so windy. Might still go and putt around for a little maybe wind up at @TXpro4X4 for a beer. Although I’ve gained the quarantine 15 so I really shouldn’t skip my workout today haha. Might go and do a 20 min row for my lunch break and then scoot after
