Cheap Refrigeration

Does anyone have experience using a small refrigerator such as this one, and running it off of the 110v outlet in the bed? The real question is, can the outlet provide enough juice to run it?

It would be a much cheaper alternative to one of those expensive Dometic fridges.

 

I wouldn't run this on your car outlet. I would get like a jackery or a goalzero. Or build a solar set up

 

A 12v fridge is going to be more efficient than running one off an inverter.

 

Those things cost more than a Dometic. The top-of-the-line Jackery is $1000 and it would not make sense to spend that much for a $100 fridge.

There are many fridges out there, you don't need a Dometic. Try looking for used ones, someone is always looking to get rid of one, for one reason or another.

 

Costco just brought these in. Looks like decent deal.
