    Hey TW community,

Doing research for a lift. Been reading a lot of the forums, and understand a lot of the basic principles.
My main question revolves around finding a system I can upgrade as I get more money. I don’t want to swap things out to upgrade. Maybe this is not possible? Maybe it’s not a product more than a plan?
I imagine something like buying the shocks and then springs, then UCAs.
Not looking for true extended travel. Just increased performance and capacity from stock.

(get these things out of the way)
My usage and current set up:
    2019 TRD Off-road access cab
    Stock suspension and tires
I use the truck as a daily driver and as a work truck often hauling material and random stuff.
I am a artist/educator and fabricator(metal, wood, ceramics, foundry and more)
I go off-roading a fair amount, and will be building the truck out for more serious style expeditions both around the east and out West.
My goal is to build a rig that can handle moderate-difficult terrain. Probably won’t go larger than 33” tires. Will be building my own armor, bumpers etc. Basically adding a fair amount of weight.
While I do drive this everyday, I have access to a regular car so I don’t mind slanting this build towards off-road capabilities and increased workability.
I am generally a buy once cry once type of person who likes well made things. I also enjoy working on my truck, maintaining things modifying and tinkering.

sooo.. short story long: looking for strategies or products that allow me to start building out the suspension with the notion of adding to it over time.
Perhaps I’m talking about an approach not a product. Which components when type thing. Or maybe some brands/components allow for this more than others.
