Any explanation? Rancho I kinda understand. But 5100s have a made a lot of people really happy at a very low price point. The Eibach stuff is newer for trucks but a very well proven company.

So why do people hate the 3 in the front and 2 in the rear?

I still call them struts sometimes on accident out of habit. And because sometimes when the threaded body high performance coilover fanboys get involved they get but hurt when you call a factory suspension or 5100 a coilover.

I think that’ll suit your needs well. To my understanding the axle wrap problems are from taller blocks and/or worn out leaf springs.

I just done a 1 inch block in the back, do you think this justifies getting a diff drop kit?

dif drop is for the front, and you shouldn’t ever do one.

rear would require drive shaft shims, but at 1” you’re probably fine. If you develop any new vibrations, the shims should be your first go to

Morning! Im a newbie in here, but I've had my 95 Taco for about 7 years. I use it for hauling my ladders, and window washing gear. so no off road. a few years ago I had a local chevy dealer install new strut assemblies on the front, and shocks on the rear. I thought I trusted them, but now here are the problems...and Im specifically asking your advice for what shock/struts YOU would put on a normal daily driver taco. Problem #1. we have a round-about in town, when I drive around it, the Taco feels like its lunging through the thing. Problem #2. On bigger bumps at highway speed, she skates, pretty significantly. Problem #3. the truck has quite a bit of sway. So...Im confident now that they put cheap aftermarket junk on it, and at the time, I just didn't know it. What would you guys do so that it handles better, rides better, and most importantly is safe. (1995, 284000 miles, all original V6 AT 4x4 ExtraCab with Camper shell, and often a full bed)

Yeah I'm not big on lifted trucks just my personal preference and I'd never have a use (that I know of) for it. But if you're going to do it, do it right
