Anyone else have a neon green bike? I have a 2015 YT Capra that is neon green. I'm looking at getting new pedals on it (currently RF Chester). Was thinking of the new Deity Deftrap. But not sure what color to pedals to get. Wanted to see other neon green bikes and how people are building it up. I was thinking possibly purple with purple grips to match.

I think I'm going to explore the tire carrier mount to get the bike vertical. I'm not sure if I'd have enough room to get centered horizontally with my dual swingout.

No disagreement that droppers are a great improvement for most folks. Based on the OPs intended uses, I’m not sure he’s most folk.

It’s got a battery and electric start, so sure. :D

48000 miles and climbing, it’s been all over the US. Love this bike!

Pedals are a good addition, maybe get a set of matching shoes. Depending on local trails decide on bottles or a hydration pack. Rockhoppers are pretty solid and the new models look like they finally updated geo and caught up to current trends in frame design. Padded shorts are always a good investment - if you are just starting out your body is going to take a few rides to get used to it.

Bit the bullet a couple weeks ago and decided to replace my Revolt with a Diverge (next frame size up), the difference in comfort is night and day.

Now im jonesing to upgrade the Chameleon (fork/wheels) and by proxy updating the Stumpjumper.

Looks like an AMS rip-off. AMS works great, and I can certainly recommend it. Lots of patterns as well to spruce up your ride. Been running it on most bikes for 5 years now.
That said, if you’re willing to put in the time RideWrap is amazing stuff. Damn near invisible and protection is amazing. My Spartan has seen a rough 2000 miles, including traveling to Europe and countless road trips. It looks like new. So much so that my Django with under 250 miles (with AMS) looks more beat up. I can’t recommend the stuff enough. If you’ve got a new frame, commit to the full kit and you’ll be so glad you did.

Check out their tailored kits for SC bikes...

Oh, and I heard Tommy G dropped a sweet edit...

Pro tip, do it before they build the bike, way easier.

Any section of the bike you found was best to start with? IE: down tube, head tube, chain stay, etc.?

Since you have the frame, and are in no rush, take your time and do a few pieces a day.
    What I learned:
    • Start with the back triangle, smaller pieces, and less noticeable parts so that you get the hang of applying it.
    • Make sure you're working in a dust and wind free environment.
    • Use plenty of soap in the water, get it super wet, wet your hands in between, don't let anything start to dry out until it looks how you want it to.
    • Squeegee is your friend.
    • Don't rush.

This process took me a total of 6 hours for the tailored kit. When done, it looks amazing and protection is better than anything I've used.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Sounds like I may need to cancel my order haha. With two kids and in the middle of selling/buying houses I’m not overflowing with time, patience, or dust free environments.

I’m half joking, half serious. I understand the full deal is the best route, but I probably should have looked more into the application process
