Another long day. Had 3’inspectors do their inspections today. Supposed to be between 9-12. First two right before 9. 3 didn’t show up till 4:30 after we complained. At least I got all the new floor down got a bunch of stuff cleaned up and I found a few things he would have got me for on electrical (missed some nail plates) and got those fixed before he arrived. I’m pooped now.

 

As soon as I see that name either of them the whole sound of the intro hits me... had to watch it again.

Gun build kit came today. Will probably be next weekend before I put together. Need to get the receiver from my friend. Probably should get some mags also lol.

I bought a 300 Blackout kit from Moriarti Arms.

 

Nice. I've been thinking of a blackout kit when I'm done tinkering with my other three

 

What style handguards?

 

I’m not 100% sure until I open it all up. It said there can be a variation in the hand guard style based on availability.

 

This is my first personal AR. Excited to get working on it. Need to order some mags, red dot and a good case. Maybe some ammo would be useful also.

 

Good news is .300 blackout takes 5.56/.223 mags. Bad news is a 5.56 gun can chamber .300 blackout lol.

If you get a red dot, get a Trijicon or Eotech for US-made or Aimpoint (which is the best imo) for European.

Vortex, Holosun or Sig Optics for Chinese.

 

Ya I’m doing this on a massive budget right now. Put a ton of money into 3D printing masks for donation. So an expensive red dot is out of the budget now.

 

I’m still waiting for some vampire samples
