My 300 BLK has a 4x9x50 Vortex scope on it. Zeroed at 150 yards. I have popped a bunch of Hogs with it.

If I could find the Bushnell for the $50 side I would order it now. On suggestions from here it’s the one I’ve got bookmarked. Only been seeing right around a hundred or more lately.

My 5.56 pistol has an Eotech on it, used to be Holosun 403C and x3 magnifier. (I'm ditching my Chinese stuff, slowly)

    My 16" 5.56 mid-length Recce has a 1-4x24 Burris MTAC in a Larue 1.93" cantilever QD mount

    My 16" 6.5 Grendel mid-length has a Leupold VX Freedom 3-9x40 duplex in a Burris P.E.P.R. 1.93" cantilever mount

I have a Vortex Strikefire II on one AR and an EOtech 512 on another AR. They both perform about the same to me. :notsure:

They hover around the $70-90 range, but everything is overpriced right now due to the artificial scarcity. Expensive stuff is easy to find.

The difference is features and durability. The 512 has night vision settings and better glass for night vision use. I used one in Iraq.

It also uses the outdated battery compartment and glass :boink:

Run iron sights and save up for an Aimpoint or Eotech.

I had the 512 when Eotech went through all there problems and they replaced it with the newer version. To be honest I have never had problems with my AA batteries I also have upgraded to the Red Laser battery compartment. And added a Eotech 3X magnifier. I got about $1000 in it. But It is very good for running down Coyote's here in Georgia. :boink: :rofl:

I’ll probably try out the bushnell and upgrade later and move that to the next build.

Trying to keep my eye out for a good deal.

I was going to ask if you partook in the buyback, but some people are pretty sore about that still lol. I hear they changed the glad and battery compartment springs and an o-ring or two. I still run an Eotech, but I just wish the EXPS- series had good battery life and constant on like Aimpoint. I know they don't due to the difference in reticle illumination. :(
They used to be on sale or included with other things in cheap packages all the time.
