A little something every chance we get.
Alright - four days in the making, because yesterday and Monday were a wash.

Sunday - got some help from my son on the roof vents, and all the pics of him were worthless! We had to MOD the MOD though, so take heart in that it wasn't just more coloring book assembly! Remember I added a second vent to the top, AND also automatic openers. Now there are four panes per side, and you can have a vent in either of the middle two, on either side. What is NOT shown in any instruction, mostly because the vent that comes with is just ONE, and the extra assumes you never had one, is that you have to slide the vent panel extrusion in a slot that is covered by half of this bracket, and there is no way you can put two on opposite sides without mods. I did not want two on the same side....

    20200510_161121.jpg
The side facing in this pic covers the roof brace slot. One side of this brace has a long shoulder, one short.. so, you can only put a vent on the "short" side normally...

    20200510_163849.jpg
Now, we can put them diagonal to each other. That long shoulder hits the vent panel when it tries to lift.

So, in they go, with a little fuss to the hardware to keep it square and straight as possible.

And we got the auto adjusts in - they work great. They will open to very nearly level in the heat, and close to the roof at approximately 60*

    20200511_073803.jpg

Monday - put the the temperature sensor and Mr. Sunshine in before the medical appointment...
    20200511_111023.jpg

    Tuesday - survived the rain!
    20200512_091259.jpg

Today - the last items, build the door and put it on
    20200513_160741.jpg
    20200513_162125.jpg open
    20200513_164837.jpg and shut

Put the little rain gutter corners and the top caps on, and I am FINISHED with the Palram coloring book.
    20200513_164844.jpg

Now I just get to do "normal" greenhouse stuff! Make my new shelves, get the drip system installed, solar power the drip..... AND GET SOME VEGGIES! (Just like the Tacoma, my vegetables will immediately be more costly that they will ever be worth!) Cheers! :proposetoast:

Does anybody know much about water softeners because my wife wants to get one and we were talking to a guy that sells them in Fredericksburg but with the way our septic is set up it can't drain into the septic but the guy was saying that you can drain it into your yard he said it's just water and salt does anybody know or done this before
