I received a lot of info about the job that made me feel confortable enough to send a counter offer.

Unfortunately, after my counter offer was sent, rather than trying to negotiate with me, they withdrew the offer. In hindsight, they probably did me a favor. They probably realized that with my experience and education they would realistically have to pay me more than the scraps they were offering.

Live and learn Jacob, probably worked out for the best. I think they could have done a better job of explaining the package up front. There wouldn't have been nearly as much back and forth.
