    If you are about to get out of the vehicle and go in somewhere.

    If you just got in and haven't taken it off yet.

    If you're doing errands and going a few places and it's more convenient to just leave it on than take it on and off at each stop/place.

    I run deliveries and I usually feel it's easier to just leave it on rather than taking it off and on after each place I go. It's probably safer too since each time you take it off you risk contaminating your fingers and/or the inside of the mask with whatever is on the outside of the mask out or whatever it might touch. If I know I've got 15 minutes or so in the truck I'll take it off though.

    Not trying to bust your nuts, just saying I can definitely see some valid reasons.

    I'm sure there are some practical reasons to leave your mask on in the car including the ones you mentioned.

    The people working the outdoor area at Lowe's over the weekend with black masks looked miserable.
