Not your everday mod

Not a usual taco mod but last summer i built a traveling fishing rod pod since the only ones i found online were way over priced. Happy with it and makes long distance traveling with a lot of rods super easy

 

It looks like some sort of rocket launcher! Cool!!!

Thanks! It’s pvc but I actually wrapped it in a large plastic drain pipe to give it the look

4" Schedule 40 pvc. Glued a cap on one end and a screw cap on the other. I cut and extended a lockable hitch pin to go through holes in the screw cap and pipe. I stopped once for lunch and had several nice rods stolen. Can't trust folks anywhere these days.

Really nice. Mine was smaller and wouldn't take spinning rods.

 

Yea I used 6in pvc. I had room for about 9 rods with no reals

 

If you decide to start selling these, you should call them Fox 2.

 

With the cost of good reels mine are locked in a case inside the truck. I've got a couple of old Penns that can't be replaced. The new ones just aren't as smooth.
