Their market is for people who want 24”-32” wheels with low profile tires. I’m sure they make a killing on damage deposits alone.

i did roughly the same thing and used PlastiDip.

No idea what you mean by axle but the plastic bushing doesn’t necessarily need to be replaced. Your center bearing being lower (ie torsion bar not level) is the cause for your end bearings seizing up and going bad… that’s just lazy (on installer) unless you have really tight clearance issues. Don’t fix it unless you get a new bar because that’s already warped by now (maybe not so much on single car vs doubles).

If new construction home, I suggest not going with the cheapest quote… good work isn’t cheap and cheap work isn’t good

oh yea, never remove the bottom bracket (roller) btw- all that tension from the spring gets released. Looks like you got it (repaired) no problem- it’s not rocket science but it can cause damage/injury if not careful or improper tools
