    I'm currently tuning one in FL. GT3584 w/ a .96AR turbine housing. We've just about got the MAF calibration dialed and will be converting to E85 here shortly.

    I would check-in on ProCharger's website every now and then to see which models of Tacomas were included. I'm a bit surprised they decided to pursue another FI option for us 2nd Gen's being we already have an option and the 3rd Gen's would seem to benefit more. I'm glad to see this option though and always wanted to see a centrifugal type available for the 2.5 gens. I wanna hear how it sounds and see how it performs!

    i would love to see a supercharger option for the third gen. I do agree with @MESO , if they are gonna charge that, it better be carb legal.

    i think the fuel pump booster theyre using is pretty interesting. Curious how it does that black magic to support all that hp with the stock pump

    I don't know why they wouldn't just replace the stock pump with an aftermarket pump, unless they were trying to keep costs down or they had already partnered with whoever makes that booster module.

    Yeah im not sure why either. Seems like the aftermarket pump would be a better option, like you said, it probably came down to cost

    If you can get better/cleaner power to the fuel pump, it will run higher and flow more. It's like turning your amp up to 11 ;). This has been done for years of FI setups where the stock fuel pump is close enough to meet the demand. A new higher flowing pump seems like a safer solution though if you don't mind doing the work to install it.

    At 390 HP, the OEM pump is no where near adequate. Even at 16 volts(hypothetical), it is beyond the ragged edge.

    It is not barely adequate for the TRD with a pulley upgrade.

    More than one way to solve a problem. The pump upgrade is the safest and best method.
