Got hit yesterday. Someone was pulled over on the red lane in the middle of a 3 way intersection by my house and they swung open the driver side rear passenger door without looking...:bananadead::bananadead::bananadead:

They’re great man! Really easy to grease, don’t have to jack up the truck or loosen anything. Just pump moly grease into it as is about every 5,000 miles

That sucks but on the bright side it doesn’t look like it touched the cab at all. Just a bedside and you’re good as new.

So today is paint day. I went with a smooth bed liner which is somewhere between paint and regular bed liner as far as texture. Took for freaking ever to get it masked and lay a coat down. Letting the first coat dry.

Replaced the spark plugs, they look like they’re the originals (3 NGK on the driver’s/3 Denso on passenger side). With 90,000 on the truck, so I’m glad I changed them out, I guess they could look worse. I put in Bosch Double Iradiums, I know overkill, but at least I can get off of the 30,000 interval change. Also changed the PCV valve since it was in the vicinity.

Took off work yesterday to kayak spearfish since the weather was exceptional. Snapped a quick picture of the truck with my usual weekend gear (and my partner taking a pee in the background). It was a great day and now I'm tired. At least it's Friday!
Plan to do it all over again tomorrow.

I laid this Rvinyl 4D carbon fiber dash kit yesterday. Ordered it just to see if it would look good and I'm impressed how it turned out. Had do some trimming here and there but I gotta give myself an A+ on the install, it isn't easy. I think I'll keep it on. Next I'll paint or wrap the radio trim20200515_154756.jpg

I tried going that route with my console shifter piece but I couldn't stop all the wrinkling on the corners and what not so I just had it hydro dipped. Only thing I have wrapped successfully was my tailgate and that's because its a flat surface for the most part.
