Looking for advice as to whether I should get a weight distribution hitch, airbags, or both. Got a 2010 dclb 4x4 with tow package, ARB 886 shocks, and Dakar leaf springs, and will be pulling a 16' enclosed car hauler. I've got all the weights figured out pretty closely...the truck will be very close to gvwr and the trailer will be at 6,250 pounds...yes, I'm definitely pushing the limit, but it's for a one-time move and not a recurring thing. Would you recommend either or both a WD hitch or airbags to help with rear end sag and weight distribution?

    Thanks in advance.

With that much weight definitely both a wdh and air bags. But how many miles is this one time move? If it’s a couple hundred miles and only one time just tow it as is and drive slow, real slow. If it’s a long trip like cross country then get both. I think long or short trip I’d get a wdh and if long then I’d get airbags also.

It's cross country, about 700 miles. I'll be doing similar moves every few years due to work, so it sounds like airbags and a wdh both would be smart for the long term.

Both are Stock - built correct from the start.
If it’s a one time move I’d go with bags. You’ll use them from time to time hauling “stuff”. The hitch looks like a waste of money for one time.

If I was going to do one or the other I'd do a hitch first. It's cheaper, keeps weight on the front and reduces sway. It won't solve rear end sag but will mitigate it a fair bit (especially with your already upgraded rear springs)
