I loved my red rider BB gun (no compass in stock but had the leather thing is) when I was a kid. Again this is 40 some years ago. Waited and begged for one for x-mas. Parents did the all gifts opened then it looks like something was left under the couch bit. I can still remember it. Sorry to say but a lot of birds did not like it but again I was a kid. Come to think about the damn thing never left me down. The good old days. Now it cost me a lot more $ to shoot. thanks for posting that.

Now you tell me. Lol. It’s all good. If I remember it was $8 something. Life goes on. Also ordered the nylon punch. Here in DE a lot of fun shops don’t work on guns. -sad but true.

I got my original RR about 38-39 years ago too. I actually still have it but for some reason in my early teens I sawed off the stock, it still shoots though. I actually did get this “adult” version to zap squirrels. I’m in a neighborhood so I didn’t want anything to powerful…I don’t wanna pay for a bunch of cracked windows. It is strong enough though to light’em up and get them moving along.

Another thing with this covid -19 is you can only buy one box of ammo and caliber per day here is DE. Atleast at two local gun shops I went to. Problem is I’m heading to our 3000 acre hunt camp with a rifle range so the kids can shoot a bit. Been going and getting A box of 50 9mm and 22 cal and 308 a day at a time. Pain in ass but better than getting the covid-19 so I get it. (I think)
    Be safe all.

When you are located in the belly of the beast, posting a firearm within 48 hrs of purchase can be a bit restrictive.

So I am posting this within 48 hrs of springing my new pistol from jail.

No. If you acknowledge them, then they will just think they are right.

There are NO amount of guns, ammo, or acknowledgment to make anyone think holding a gun for 10 friggin days is remotely right.
And I am sorry to hear you state there is something that can make it right.....

Did you even read my post? I am saying to NOT acknowledge them, otherwise they WILL think it’s ok.

THEY will think it’s ok. Doesn’t mean I do. Other people think differently. Not going to continue this, a sarcastic comment is becoming way more then it needs to.

Sorry for the unintended redirect guys!

I am a gun enthusiast living in NorCal but also have residence in MT. I have absolutely zero issue with the minor inconvenience of a waiting period to protect (especially protect) women who are far and away the most frequent victims of “crimes of passion”.
