Yes, there's been a few threads on that bumper. Be sure to use the search function in the upper right-hand corner.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/search/11395336/?q=body+armor&t=post&o=date&c[title_only]=1&c[node]=186

Also be sure to check out similar slimline bumpers by other vendors. SSO, SOS, Victory 4x4, C4 Fabrication... the list goes on.

    Welcome to TacomaWorld!

Even better google hiline bumper 3 rd gen Tacoma. The search bar is the worst, can’t find crap with it. But to answer your question the bumper is great and a reasonably priced and always in stock. Both ebay and Amazon as well a number places

I must be alone on my island, but I actually like the search function. It's pretty intuitive and does exactly what you need. Sure, it won't "draw conclusions"... so if you type "wheel" it's not going to include "rims"... but if you work within its parameters, it's very effective. Especially the check boxes that limit it to titles or forums. Add in the specific member, and it's always worked for me.

Sorry, but I've drank all the Cool Aide.

@Bertw192 I serious like to google it because it brings up Tacoma worlds thread posts it’s dates. I can determine the most recent. You’ve been here awhile so it might be second nature. Either way just as long as we find what we’re looking

For sure, bro! Whatever works for you. I've certainly used Google plenty of times and it's very effective. Honestly, if "Tacoma" is in your Goole search, you're only going to get TW results.

I was more responding to those that don't use ANY search method, and instead post a new thread, for a subject that's been discussed adnosium.

This doesn't necessarily apply to OP either. I'll get off my soap box... :D

Thanks Guys for all the info. I'll do some more research on the other bumpers listed before I make a purchase.

I don't have one or know anyone that does, but Car ID is running a sale currently on one that looks similar (might even be the same one, didn't see a model number).

I just installed the 19339 bumper. Really sturdy and I'm digging it.

Be cautious of this bumper quality.
While I love the geometry of this bumper the one I received must have been made at the end of the day on a Friday. Grinding work is so bad I have contacted BA for action replacing it however I am skeptical as I am in Vancouver, Canada area this unit shipped from Cali.
I did not see any advertised TC 19339 that stated it was made of 1/8" but mine is. All adds upload_2020-12-12_9-44-5.jpg
I found said 1/4" winch base plates and 3/16" elsewhere however mine is 1/4" thick winch base plates and frame mounts BUT 1/8" everywhere else. Yes the whole facia is 1/8" not 3/16. There is no 3/16" thick steel anywhere on my bumper. Also the post-weld cleanup is so bad they have remove much of the straight forming lines. Its really quite embarrassing. Pretty frustrated with this finishing quality.

Looks like a cheap Chinese knockoff of a SSO bumper.

Ya I have been a Journeyman Metal Fabricator and Pressure Welder for +20 years and I would agree this looks like it was made offshore

A lot of posts complaining of crappy installation instructions and I would agree. Guys are cutting them where the instructions say to but that's not what BA's website shows in the picture. They picture one thing and the install picture shows something different. I think if you follow the instruction and cut where they say it actually cuts back too far and makes it difficult to cover the tang.

My local distributor (4WP) has been real good about it. They are going to get another one brought up but if it looks the same there’s no way I am cutting my bumper for that.
    Cheers

I have the Hiline bumper and am happy with it. No issues like in the pics above. I like it because it's not super heavy, looks like it could be stock and can hold a winch and light bar. I got a really good deal on it and didn't wait long to get it. I didn't follow their instructions on cutting the bumper though. I got the basics from youtube videos and made my own cut. Took me forever to get the cut marked so it was even on both sides.

    Hey GatorBait
Good to hear. Mind sharing pics?
I am still gonna try for a better quality one.
Like to see your cuts. I see some guys cut with the curve of the front of the truck and some straight cut as instructed. Interested to see which way you went

I personally have this bumper installed on mine and the shipping is my biggest problem because the D-loop holders were banged up, but I am overall very pleased with the price and the fitment. Does anyone have any issue with the front end sagging a little? I also installed a Smittybuilt 12K lb winch with the bumper and it weighs down the front end a little. I have a stage 4 ICON lift, but with stock TRD Offroad springs. I am looking into upgrading the springs to OME 886 because I eventually plan on adding stronger skid plates.
