    hello everyone!

I'm new to this Toyota thing but so far I'm loving it! I come from a chevy 4x4 back ground so I was a little surprised when I first crawled under the truck I bought just a few months ago. (this truck is well built and well thought out!) long story short I ran across a 2002 Tacoma TRD for a steal. this truck is just stupid clean. anyhow I bought it to drive it and not destroy it like I did the chevy's in my younger years. I would like to travel around Utah and Colorado and just see where the wind takes me so I'm building a truck for just that.

not sure if I'm building in the right direction but time and the trail will tell me soon enough.

so far I've added... new headlights, weathertech floor mats, Bilstein adjustable shocks all around, making for a 2" ish lift, next week I'll be adding some JBA upper control arms.

in the near future I'm looking to add a CVT tent with a bed rack for extra fuel and ect.(know anyone selling used, let me know) At the moment I'm arguing with myself If I want to fabricate a rear tailgate to hold the spare or not. Now for my unicorn... if yall can help me, I'm looking for the grey TRD Baja (fake beadlock) wheels.. and, that right there would make for an amazing vehicle (along with a lot of other technical things like gearing and ARB compressor.) but yeah you get the point.

I'm excited to be connected to the wisdom of this site and most of all getting on the trail while meeting many of you.

Welp, I keep hearing "Pics! Pics!" haha so here are a couple pictures of things. one is of the UCA's that I installed yesterday and the other is a picture of how the truck looks with JBAJBA UCA.jpg JBA UCA.jpg UCAs and Bilstein 5100's. I did the middle slot for like a 1.5" lift? turns out if you do the full 2.5" lift slot on the adjustable struts the 4x4 will bind up after like one rotation on the steering wheel. I might do the diff drop kit if I need more lift for the future tires.

anyways this is starting to turn into a build thread so maybe i'll just start one.
    enjoy the pics!
