2006 Tacoma TRD Sport 4X4: Been running Wrangler Dura Trac. Largest size on stock 17” rims for a couple of years. Great in off road conditions but they wore out pretty quick. Sorry don’t have the mileage of how far they went right now. Looking for another brand. Maybe the BFG KO’s or open to other suggestions. I want a good all terrain tire thats on the road 80% of the time. I like the beefy look the Wranglers gave it but I also want a quiet running tire and a longer lasting tire. When offering up a tire please give size for a stock 17” rim if you know it.

I ran Cooper RTXs for one set, and about 45k miles in they were pretty low on tread and sketchy in the rain. I did a fair amount of research and decided to go with Wildpeak AT3Ws. They were awesome for me. 15k miles on them so far and they are great in wet weather.

    - ICON UCAs, BP51/Kings, SCS wheels, 285s, Leer 100XR canopy. Greenlane aluminum winch bumper, Smittybilt X20 winch. Trying Falken AT3w now, Really like BF KO2s.
I’ve had the KO and KO2s for 6.5 years and they have been great, zero issues with rain, been in some nasty mud, pretty quiet on the highway.
    45lbs for 265 70 17.
If I try something else prob be the ST Maxx but in the 255 80 17 size to try to keep weight down.

I think I’m aiming for the KO2’s. So do you know if the 265 70 17 the largest you can go running stock rims and suspension? I know with my current Wrangler Dura Trac that’s the size I’m running and was told it’s as large as a tire you can go running stock and without rub.

Still open to other brand tire recommendations, anyone.

The 265 70 17 will fit, thats the biggest for stock. Looking at tires a lot of people on my block are running Duratracs. I am trying to find a new Jeep owner selling off thier 285s KO2s for cheap.
