IMHO I think the MESO would be considered a 100X better fit. You actually take the old chrome vent rings out and replace them with MESO. The AJT’s you snap over the top of your existing vents but whatever you like is whatever you like

I used chemical guys. New wheels bout a week old and the Undercarriage was sprayed
So all the above it’s unmolested

Mounted up my new SCS 17x9 F5s with Michelin Defender 265/65/17r tires. No lift. Tiny little rub in reverse. No biggie. Me and Mr. Heatgun will fix that later!

SP-9100 out of the way, I'll remember to refer others to this solution . For those who ask "why high lift", once you try it you won't go back - it's like comparing a convertible to a sunroof, one simply lets in much more light and makes access much easier.

And of course those "extra" holes from the Redline brackets will be covered by the fender trim pieces.

That's interesting, at 6'3", my first "encounter" with the 3rd Gen Taco during hood strut prototyping was nailing my temple against the open hood, enough to see stars . Maybe your extra height is an advantage in this case. The 3rd Gen Taco hood height is about 6" lower than the previous gens for some odd reason.

 

Looking great, I've been following along. I love fabrication. I notice you've got solid bracing across the bottom of the camper in the back where I assume it sits on top of the tailgate. Won't that limit what size cargo you can load in? Just wondering.

 

After 6 months of being in the basement, finally got my SCS wheels mounted with some LT255/85r16 KM3’s.
Gotta trim a little plastic as expected..

 

Yes, it is the Body Armor bumper. Install was pretty easy. It took me about 3 hours total.
