Looking at Tonneau covers and having trouble finding any reviews I trust on sites online. So I am turning to the experts here.
I am looking at hard flip covers and hard roll out.
So far I have the Bak mx4 as a hard fold and the Bak Vortrak as a hard roll out saved as possibilities. The Bak mx4 on sale in low $800s and Vortrack for $799. Any input on these 2 would help. Just read Bak flip easy to defeat security wise. Unaware if I can keep my tie down rails functioning with Vortrack roll out.
Have looked at other brands but too many to sift thru.
So I am interested in these types of covers and my wish list is it being secure, ability to keep rail functions of tie down rails, opens up entire bed quickly ( flip type to back of cab and understand canister roll Limits), and water tight as possible. Low profile not a big issue for me.
Thanks in advance for you assistance with honest evals on listed and any suggestions.

Thx for link! I searched tonneau covers several different ways and kept getting very few discussions. Lack of knowledge on how to use site on my part I guess but your link is plum full of advice. Thx
I still can not find any reviews of Bak Vortrack though! It shows at $799 for an aluminum roll up which is well below others. Trying to find out Why?

I've owned the OEM Tacoma cover and switched to the BakFlip mx4, couldn't be any happier with it. The mx4 hardware comes with the ability to still be able to mount the rail and the bed cleats. I can't say its 100% watertight, as I still get some water at times. But it's very minimal, others have mentioned that they get no water. I'm sure I can take the time to seal the water entry but it doesn't bother me. Good luck!

Thx all for input. Just pulled trigger ( or family did for father’s day) ARE Fusion in Calvary Blue. Son sent pics of one on my type and color truck and it looks custom as hell!
Thx and will post pics and review when it arrives.

Only issues i can complain about the with the rem toyota cover....its a bit heavy and can be noisy when hitting cross winds, otherwise it functions well.
