I’m curious what camera you used and where you installed it / how you installed it.
    Thanks

I used the Kenwood backup camera because I had a free one laying around. Awesome quality camera, super easy install, but one huge flaw...

It is made as a backup camera, which means the image is mirrored, so when it’s pointing forwards, right is left and left is right. It is designed to point backwards.

if I was using this for trails and rock crawling, this would present a big issue. Luckily, I am a mall crawler and I only use this camera for pulling into parking spaces. I have it pointed nearly straight down so I can see painted lines on the ground and the car bumper in front of me.

I use mine literally every time I pull into a parking spot. I drove a 2-door Jeep for 10 years before the Tacoma so I was used to fitting in any spot and never worrying about “am I pulled up far enough”
My wife uses it a lot too when she drives it
